Diese Datenschutzerklärung gilt für die Android-Automotive-App Auto Selfie (Paketname com.automotiveapps.selfie), die auf Android-Automotive-Fahrzeugen lokal installiert wird.
Auto Selfie ermöglicht es, mit der Fahrzeugkamera ein Foto aufzunehmen und dieses sicher auf ein Smartphone oder einen Computer zu übertragen – ohne Cloud-Konto, ohne dauerhafte Speicherung.
Jedes Foto wird vor dem Hochladen auf dem Fahrzeugdisplay verschlüsselt (AES-256-GCM). Der Verschlüsselungsschlüssel verlässt das Fahrzeug ausschließlich als Teil des QR-Codes bzw. Links und wird niemals an den Server übermittelt. Der Server speichert nur die verschlüsselten Daten und kann das Bild selbst nicht entschlüsseln oder einsehen. Die Entschlüsselung findet ausschließlich in Ihrem Browser auf Ihrem Gerät statt.
Fotos
Aufgenommene Fotos werden verschlüsselt auf dem Server unter selfie.automotive-apps.com (Hetzner Online GmbH, Deutschland) gespeichert. Sie enthalten keine GPS-Koordinaten, keine Gerätekennungen und keine Nutzerkonten. Das Foto ist nur über den zufällig generierten Download-Code erreichbar und wird automatisch nach spätestens 30 Minuten gelöscht. Nach dem ersten Download verkürzt sich die Frist auf 3 Minuten.
Anonyme Nutzungsstatistiken
Auto Selfie übermittelt anonyme Ereignisse (App-Start, Feature-Aufrufe) an eine selbst betriebene Analyselösung auf Basis von Aptabase (eigener Server bei Hetzner Online GmbH in Deutschland, analytics.automotive-apps.com). Kein Name, keine E-Mail, kein Werbe-Identifier, keine Gerätekennungen, keine Bildinhalte – ausschließlich aggregierte Ereignisdaten zur Verbesserung der App.
IP-Adresse Beim Herunterladen eines Fotos im Browser wird technisch bedingt die IP-Adresse des Abrufenden kurzzeitig im Server-Log erfasst. Sie wird nicht dauerhaft gespeichert.

Da Auto Selfie keine Nutzerkonten führt und Fotos maximal 30 Minuten gespeichert werden, sind in den meisten Fällen keine personenbezogenen Daten mehr vorhanden, wenn Sie sich melden.

This privacy policy applies to the Android Automotive app Auto Selfie (package com.automotiveapps.selfie), installed locally on Android Automotive vehicles.
Auto Selfie lets you take a photo with your vehicle camera and securely transfer it to your phone or computer — no cloud account, no permanent storage.
Every photo is encrypted on the vehicle display before upload (AES-256-GCM). The decryption key is only included in the QR code / link and is never sent to the server. The server stores only the encrypted data and cannot decrypt or view the image. Decryption happens exclusively in your browser on your device.
Photos
Photos are stored in encrypted form on the server at selfie.automotive-apps.com (Hetzner Online GmbH, Germany). They contain no GPS coordinates, device identifiers, or user accounts. Each photo is accessible only via a randomly generated download code and is automatically deleted after a maximum of 30 minutes. After the first download, the deletion shortens to 3 minutes.
Anonymous usage analytics
Auto Selfie sends anonymous events (app open, feature use) to a self-hosted analytics solution based on Aptabase (server at Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany, analytics.automotive-apps.com). No names, email addresses, advertising IDs, device identifiers, or photo contents — only aggregated event data to improve the app.
IP address When downloading a photo in a browser, the server briefly logs the requester's IP address for technical reasons. It is not stored persistently.
To delete a photo before the automatic deadline, contact apps@hirschmann.io and include the download code.
You can request access to your stored data, have incorrect data corrected, request deletion, or object to processing at any time. Contact: apps@hirschmann.io
Since Auto Selfie has no user accounts and photos are kept for at most 30 minutes, in most cases no personal data will still exist by the time you reach out.
